The FKF Women’s Premier League takes another break this weekend to pave way for the FKF Women’s Cup 2024 Semi-Finals with the most anticipated clash being between Premier League leaders Kenya Police Bullets FC and third-placed Ulinzi Starlets FC.
Ulinzi Starlets will be looking forward to defend the trophy for a third consecutive time while their counterparts in the disciplined forces Police Bullets are seeking to maintain their long unbeaten record in competitive football.
On the other hand, Vihiga Queens Football Club continue to prepare for their remaining three FKF Premier League fixtures; hosting Bungoma Queens, Nakuru City Queens away in Nakuru and Wadadia away in Mumias.
Speaking to VQFC Media, Head Coach Boniface Nyamunyamu feels that the break will give him a good opportunity to innovate, re-strategize and program well as the league approaches the tail end.
“”We are focused on winning all our remaining FKF Women’s Premier League matches. The results will not come on a silver plate. We have to put in more work because no team is ready to let go easily, especially at this point when we have few matches remaining. Our busy end-of-week training schedule includes a buffet of friendly matches organized by local football lovers that start today at Gavalagi Secondary School. For value add, we shall select those which resonate well with us,” alluded Nyamunyamu.,” alluded Nyamunyamu.
