Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) in collaboration with StarTimes today handed the award to VQFC Head Coach Nyamunyamu for his exemplary efforts, having been named May 2023 Coach of the Month Award winner.
Coach Nyamunyamu edged his counterparts after guiding the 4 times Reigning Champions Vihiga Queens FC to the coveted 2022-2023 FKF Women’s Premier League title. The Queens finished top with 55 points, seven points ahead of Gaspo who finished the season second.
The award was presented by KTN News journalist Moses Wakhisi who serves as the (SJAK) Secretary General. Mr. Wakhisi congratulated coach Nyamunyamu for his exemplary performance and great efforts demonstrated by the Team’s achievements so far.
Nyamu as fondly referred to by his peers and team, took pleasure in the sporting gesture from (SJAK) and StarTimes.

This initiative is already encouraging many of us who work tirelessly to shape and develop the enormous local talents across the Country.
