In a tight Second Leg kick-off match at the Nakuru ASK Showground, Vihiga Queens were pushed all the way by hosts, Nakuru City Queens but the “Legacy Makers” managed to secure the three points eventually in a match played over the weekend.

On her debut match for Vihiga Queens, youngster Agnes Olesi’s fourth minute sterling goal gave the Legacy Makers an early lead.

The second half was tight with no goals scored despite spirited efforts from both sides.

Following the slim one-to-zero result, Vihiga Queens maintain their position at the top of the table with 34 points with the second placed side and next opponents, Ulinzi Starlets trailing the League leaders with 9 behind at 25 points.

The Queens face Ulinzi on Sunday 10th April at the Mumias Sports Complex from 3 PM.
