Saturday, 23rd March, 2024 will go down the history books with pervading melancholy, following a one nil defeat that axed the Queens out of the FKF Women’s Cup 2024.

Played at Sudi Stadium, the round of 16 clash put Kisiwa Starlets ahead with an early first half goal in the 33rd minute through Shamim Makokha.

On his part, Head Coach Boniface Nyamunyamu admitted that the unprecedented upset by the Division One side, and the eventual knockout from the FKF Women’s Cup is a wake up call for his side.
