It was a bad day in office for four-time Kenya Women Premier League (KWL) champions Vihiga Queens FC (VQFC) as they lost 1-0 to newbie Police Bullets on February 10th, 2024 at the Police Sacco Stadium.

Perceived by many as the 2023/2024 KWPL title-decider, the match saw Bullets awarded a penalty kick in the wee minutes of First Half after VQFC’s right back Anne Norah committed a foul inside the box.

Bullets held to the one nil lead throughout the entire match that was full of shots on target, propelled by VQFC’s sharpshooting attackers led by Tumaini Waliaula.

As a result, Kenya Police Bullets lead the KWPL log with 31 points, 3 points ahead of second-placed Vihiga Queens.

With 7 matches remaining to the completion of the league, the Legacy Makers are hopeful of a successful campaign that will see their dominance remain intact.
